I have been a childminder since 1992, and I still enjoy it as much now as I did when I
first started, although the paperwork we have now compared to back then is
phenomenal !!

My name is Pauline, but I am also known as Bonnie, a name that was given to me by my nephew when he was 2 and couldn’t say my name.  The name has stuck for 16 years.  Some of the children call me Pauline, some call me Bonnie.

I have been married to Philip for over 20 years, and we have 3 daughters, aged 21, 19
and 11. I am also about the become a Granny for the first time!

Before childminding I used to work in an office before going back to college and
training as a hairdresser.  The only hairdressing I do these days is
on my mindees.

Childminding takes up the majority of my time, but any spare time I do have I use it to
practice Reiki.

We have 3 cats, one is a Siamese, another is her daughter and is a cross
Siamese and then we have Evie who is a Ragdoll cat.  All 3 are very friendly, but don’t tend to stay around when
the children are here.  They usually curl up somewhere nice and quiet
!!
